Account Director Job Description

Campaign Planning, Development & Management: You will build exciting, creative and innovative healthcare communications strategies which fully reflect client objectives, whilst ensuring that you are following and promoting the use of best practice and agency processes to guarantee that high-standards of quality, results and profitability are achieved.
Client Relationships: You will develop and maintain strong client partnerships across multiple accounts with members of the PR, Marketing, Medical and Regulatory teams. For your direct clients you will continuously assert yourself as a key point of contact across all critical elements of programming.
Account Profitability and Revenue Management: With support from the senior team, you will maintain account profitability through effective monitoring of service levels, undertaking regular time analysis and managing direct costs.
Networking & Business Development: You will regularly represent GCI Health UK at healthcare communications industry events and awards to help build both your personal and our agency profile, while always maintaining a valuable portfolio of industry contacts to leverage with clients and for business development purposes. You will also assist the senior team in effectively managing new business leads from qualification through to conversion.
Presentation & Facilitation: You will have excellent facilitation skills to support creative sessions including strategic and tactical brainstorms, message development, content creation and client meetings (both virtually and face-to-face). You will be an active contributor to the development of the pitch process and a confident and effective presenter in relevant meetings.
Line Management: You will have responsibility for line management of assigned team members, to ensure career progression within the agency. Motivating, supporting and developing team memabers to deliver client results across accounts will always be expected of you as well as ensuring the daily experience is fun and rewarding for all.

Digital Media Championing: You will demonstrate a strong understanding of the digital media landscape, always striving to learn and adapt to the rapidly changing plethora of tools and applications available to us. You will keep clients educated and up-to-date in social media and apply appropriate digital and social media tools wihin the execution of client programmes.
